Who We Are

BORN FROM ECUADORIAN PRIDE

Ecuadorian Roots Dance Group is a folkloric dance group founded in Brisbane, Australia. Our mission: to share the richness of Ecuadorian culture with the multicultural Australian community.

We represent the 4 regions of Ecuador — Sierra, Coast, Amazon and Galápagos — through their most authentic dances: Sanjuanito, Bomba del Chota, Amorfino and Shuar dances.

We are preparing for our official debut on June 20, 2026 at Inti Raymi — Multicultural Australia. A historic moment for our community in Brisbane!
